  1. Will Wendel: I found this short absolutely hilarious and very accurate. It made a very funny parody out of the unspoken things that happen in these situations. I love how the writer switched sexual words with "articles" and other legal jargon. It made fun of the way sexual consent ideally would work in the eyes of the law. It had me laughing the whole time. Brilliant idea and brilliant writing.

  2. Annelise Moreau: This is an example of one of the few instance I actually laugh out loud. The way the lawyers were a representation of the subconcious of the "clients" and of the potential events that could transpire because of this formality is humorous, accurate, and just real. It's funny how they even bring up the inevitable swapping of clothes as symbols of the relationship. It's funny because it happens. I loved this short. Great idea and well presented.

  3. Hannah Altman: The overall concept of the short film "Consent" is hilarious and entertaining. At first it appeared to be cheesy and awkward, but once the lawyers got involved, I realized that was the whole point of the film, and I found it to be a humorous way to approach such an act. What a great pick up line... "should I get my lawyer." Loved the ending. I also enjoyed the lighting in the film and how it was darker around the edges, I feel like it gave the film a more romantic twist. Switching shots between each lawyer was done well, and the message of the film was well portrayed.

  4. The short film "Consent" is by far the funniest short film we have seen thus far. I felt the jokes and innuendos were well written, and I couldn't stop laughing at them. This was also such a cleverly written piece on the the true emotions that can occur between people, which was really brought out in the conversations between the lawyers. That being said, I thoroughly enjoyed the back and fourth camera shots between the lawyers, and, how their clients were laying in front of them. All in all, I really enjoyed this piece.

  5. Dillon Owen: What can I say? "Consent," was hilariously written. I realize that there is only a few setups in this short. 1 master and a few cutaways without an over the shoulder. It had a very "Social Network" approach. I love the innuendos of articles 16 and 17 and the mysterious 20. I'm assuming it was back door privileges. HILARIOUS!

  6. The first part of the script was terribly cliche and a bit boring. The meet of the film was clever and intriguing, and I believe it was pulled off well. At the end, however, it felt as if they didn't have one. The lawyer spiel with the second roommate seemed cheap and not well done. 7/10.

  7. I literally laughed out loud, very entertaining. At first I thought what a basic storyline, why are the actors so bad, why is Carrao making us watch this, i bet his friend made it. Quickly I found out this was not a favor to a close film friend to get his horrible movie out. Well done, the dialogue was great, very accurate. The facial expressions from the two teenagers also help push the story along.
